My 5 year old likes books. My 2 year old LOVES books. He will sit on my lap and let me read him 10 books in a row. Or he’ll sit on the couch and flip through several by himself. It’s just the sweetest thing.
One of our favorite series of books is by Stella Blackstone. When Max was young someone gifted us ‘Bear on a Bike’ and we’ve been hooked ever since. The Blackstone writes these books is in rhyme, and I’m not sure how, but my husband and I usually read them as a ‘rap,’ which gets the boys really into the stories! Here are our favorites:
